The buzz in the room was exciting…new faces…familiar faces…”gone for awhile but not forgotten” faces…all smiling and talking excitedly about our new Fall Study – Esther by Beth Moore.
Despite some audio difficulties, we were inspired and challenged by Beth’s introduction. As with many Beth Moore studies, I believe that we are in for a wild ride. I haven’t done one of Beth’s studies in a while, so I’m really excited about this one.
Here’s something that really stood out to me from Day Two of our homework:
“The most freeing thing we can ever do is to abdicate the trone of our own miniature kingdoms. Our status is infinitely higher as a servant in God’s kingdom than a ruler in ours.”
